Discord embed builder: design a message and see it live

Write a title, a message and a few fields, pick a color, and see the embed the way Discord shows it. Copy the text, or let Kiwora set it up as your welcome message.

Kiwora saves this design, adds itself to your server, and shows you exactly what it will change before it touches anything. You can undo it for 24 hours.

What an embed is

An embed is the boxed message with a colored bar at the side that bots post in Discord. It can hold a title, a message and several fields, which makes it a good fit for welcome messages, rules and announcements.

Only a bot or a webhook can post one, which is why a person cannot just paste an embed into a channel. This page shows you the design and gives you the text; Kiwora can post it for you.

Limits worth knowing

A title can hold 256 characters, the message 4,096, a field name 256 and a field text 1,024, with at most 10 fields. The builder stops you at each limit so the design always fits.

Colors are written as a six-digit hex code. Pick one that stays readable beside your server theme, and keep the bar a calm color if the message is long.

Make it your welcome message

If you run a community, press Let Kiwora do it. Kiwora adds itself to your server, shows you what it will change, and sets this design as your welcome message only after you say so. You can undo it for 24 hours.

Questions

Can I paste this into Discord myself?

You can paste the text version into any channel. The boxed embed with the colored bar needs a bot, which is what Let Kiwora do it is for.

Does this page save my design?

No. The design stays in your browser until you press Let Kiwora do it, and a link to the design keeps the whole design in the address, not on a server.

What does {username} do?

It is a placeholder. Kiwora replaces it with the name of each person who joins.
